At present the ordinances of the City of Kalamazoo provide limited protection against discrimination in housing for its residents and visitors and none against discrimination in employment and public accomodations.

We believe that if the city wishes to become a place in which creative and talented people want to invest their lives it is important that it welcome all to the community whatever their life circumstances.
